Why Work With a Perimenopause Fitness Coach?
General fitness advice isn’t designed for perimenopause. As estrogen and progesterone fluctuate, your body responds differently to training, nutrition, and stress. A perimenopause fitness coach understands these shifts and builds a program that works with your biology, not against it.
At Innerstrong, that means programming that protects muscle mass, supports metabolic health, and accounts for the days when your energy is half of what it used to be. It means nutrition guidance rooted in hormone health, not outdated calorie math. And it means a coach who is in your corner for the long haul.

Perimenopause Coaching FAQ
What does a perimenopause coach actually do?
A perimenopause coach helps you navigate the physical and lifestyle changes of the perimenopausal transition through personalized fitness programming, nutrition guidance, and ongoing support. At Innerstrong, coaching is practical and rooted in what actually works during this stage of life, not generic advice.
How is this different from a regular personal trainer?
Most personal trainers use generic programming not designed for hormonal changes. A perimenopause health coach understands how shifting estrogen and progesterone affect your metabolism, recovery, muscle retention, energy and programs accordingly.
Do I need to know if I'm in perimenopause to start?
No. Many women start coaching based on symptoms like irregular cycles, unexplained weight changes, fatigue, or mood shifts. You don’t need a diagnosis to benefit from perimenopause-informed coaching.
Is coaching available outside the GTA?
Yes. All Innerstrong coaching is fully virtual and available to women across Ontario and Canada.
Do I need a gym membership?
Not necessarily. Programs can be designed for home, gym, or both depending on your access and preferences.
